Web3 gaming community YGG has partnered with Parallel Studios to host a $100,000 prize pool tournament for Parallel TCG. The event will take place live at the YGG Play Summit in Manila from November 19-23, 2024, with two online qualifiers open to global participants. A total of 16 players will advance to the live tournament from two 128-player qualifiers.
The qualifiers will be based on Parallel League points, featuring a best-of-3 conquest format. The first qualifier is set for October 12-13, followed by the second on October 26-27. Prominent YGG key opinion leaders (KOLs) will also promote the event with giveaways and educational content.
“TCG players are always eager to compete at high-stakes levels,” said YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon, while Parallel TCG co-founder Kalos emphasized the unique opportunity this tournament presents for players. The YGG Play Summit will also feature a live GAM3 Awards, a cosplay competition, and live demos of top web3 games.
